Sakurano plays a girl named Kimika who wakes up chained up in a dark boiler room, unsure of how she got there. She’s soon approached by a strange large man wearing a mask and using a creepy voice changer.
The girl is the daughter of Daisuke (Kenji Ezure), the shrewd president of a general contracting company. Daisuke was too occupied with an ongoing sexual fling with his secretary (Asami) to notice that his daughter was missing at first. But when he receives a threatening phone call he eventually recognizes the gravity of the situation.
Eventually, Kimika begins to calm down as her fear slowly turns into a perverse attraction to this strange person holding her captive. What is the kidnapper’s motive? And what is his true form? In the basement of a certain building, insanity merges with obscenity as the plot unfolds.

In another Japanese modern Pink film, a young gal (Sakurano) who happens to be the daughter of a corporate company president (Kenji Ezure) is kidnapped by a mysterious figure who has her chained up on a large mattress inside of a large boiler room.
The figure revealing oneself as a figure in a gas mask and a huge sumo wrestling suit as Sakurano is treated to being humiliated and sexually abused, until the figures unmasks to reveal their true identity which unveils even more twisted secrets.
Righteously sleazy and downright perverse, ESCAPE CAPTIVITY deeply wallows in its grimy sexual aspects as director/co-writer Daisuke Goto (ZERO WOMAN, BLIND LOVE) dedicates the film to many scenes that involve Ezure having explicit sex with his secretary (Asami Sugiura [THE MACHINE GIRL, GUN WOMAN]) and Sakurano enduring plenty of perverted doings as she is forced to drink her own urine and getting raped by the stranger and engaging in a lesbian affair, as well as a surprise twits ending where the roles are reversed.
ESCAPE CAPTIVITY may not contain much of a storyline since it is strictly interested in diving as deep down in its sleaze aspect as it is in openly pushing the on-screen sexuality envelope that one certainly wouldn’t ever see in an American film, which is what to mainly watch ESCAPE CAPTIVITY for if modern Pinky films are one’s type of cinema. It was released in America as GIRL IN CAPTIVITY, with a sequel that quickly followed.
