A gravure video is not something I’d normally watch. I never really got the appeal of these kinds of “movies”, where a beautiful model struggles to play to the camera because she has no one else on screen to play off of. It’s just a moving photobook, but set to awful rock music and without the class and sheen that lets you pretend that buying that photobook of your favorite model is actually purchasing art. I guess I can see the market for this in the 90s, when getting on the internet was kind of a hassle. Kei gives out her measurements (36-24-36) and, more importantly for her Japanese fans, her blood type (O). It wasn’t so easy to access that info in 1996.

I’m only here because this is the sixth and final entry in the Kei Mizutani DVD Collection, something I bought used because I loved Weather Woman and was curious to find out if anything in the rest of Kei’s filmography was as good (spoiler: no). I guess I could have passed on watching since its just padding out the box set, but I’m trying to actually watch all the physical media I buy. 2 stars because some of her fits when she’s clothed are nice and Kei is appealing in general. Good title, too.
Scant tidbits despite this being labeled a documentary. Kei’s hobbies include baking and collecting underwear. Her favorite things? Freshly brewed coffee and y-o-u (me?). She claims to be “gentle and a little clumsy”. Awww. She invites you into her house, but I’m skeptical that was really her place. If it was, it was sparsely decorated and she really needed more furniture.
